Meet Legend of the Seas

Legend of the Seas is the third ship in Royal Caribbean’s record-breaking Icon Class, following Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas. She is built around eight distinct neighbourhoods, so a week on board feels like several holidays in one — thrill-seekers, sun-worshippers, foodies and families each get their own corner of the ship.

Expect the largest waterpark at sea, the glass-domed AquaDome with its indoor waterfall, Central Park’s living greenery, more than 40 places to eat and drink, and Surfside — a neighbourhood designed around young families. Legend of the Seas debuts in summer 2026 with Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona and Rome, then crosses to Fort Lauderdale for the Caribbean.

    A glass dome at the front of the ship with a 55-foot waterfall, an aqua theatre for high-diving shows and 360° ocean views.

    A splash zone, kids’ club, family dining and a carousel in one place, so parents and small children have a home base steps from everything.

  • Central Park & the Royal Promenade

    Thousands of real plants line an open-air park at sea, while the Promenade below hosts bars, cafés and the ship’s liveliest evenings.

When does Legend of the Seas launch?

Legend of the Seas debuts in summer 2026 with Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona and Rome. From late 2026 she sails the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Where does Legend of the Seas sail?

Her first season is the Western Mediterranean — Spain, France and Italy — followed by 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale, most of which visit Perfect Day at CocoCay. The live list of sailings and departure ports is on this page and updates every night.

Is Legend of the Seas good for families?

Yes — Icon Class ships are Royal Caribbean’s most family-focused. Surfside is a whole neighbourhood built for families with young children, there are kids’ and teens’ clubs by age group, the Category 6 waterpark, an ice rink and family cabins that sleep up to eight.

Are there adults-only areas on board?

Yes. The Hideaway is an adults-only neighbourhood with an infinity pool and its own bar, and there are adults-only spaces in the AquaDome and around the ship for a quieter day.

Can you arrange flights from Ireland?

Yes. Tell us your preferred sailing and we will quote the cruise together with flights from Ireland, transfers and any pre-cruise hotel nights, so you have one price and one point of contact.
