Designed to offer the most elevated river cruising experience in America, the ship redefines premium travel with innovation, comfort, and sophistication at every turn.
Accommodating just 180 guests, American Anthem will provide an intimate and refined atmosphere while maintaining more square footage per guest than any other small cruise ship worldwide. Every area of the ship will be thoughtfully designed, from expansive staterooms with private balconies to multiple lounges and observation decks, ensuring sweeping views and effortless comfort throughout your journey.
Contemporary interiors, curated furnishings, and modern finishes reflect the preferences of today’s travelers, offering a fresh, inviting ambiance that complements the scenic landscapes along America’s rivers. American Anthem also will set a new benchmark in responsible cruising, employing the latest environmental standards and advanced onboard technology to enhance both sustainability and guest comfort.
A standout feature is the Signature Suite, the largest stateroom on any riverboat at over 1,500 square feet. This luxurious suite offers 180º panoramic views and a wraparound balcony outfitted with a full dining area, loungers, and additional seating to fully immerse guests in the ever-changing riverscape.
Inside, the suite’s living room features a wet bar, refrigerator, multiple televisions, and a convenient half-bath powder room. The bedroom includes a sitting area, full walk-in closet, and direct access to the private balcony. The spa-inspired bathroom elevates the experience with heated floors, a freestanding soaking tub with river views, and a private water closet—combining comfort and indulgence in every detail.

Signature Suite
The world’s largest river cruise stateroom, spanning 1,500 square feet, is so expansive that six staterooms from European riverboats could fit comfortably within it. Featuring three walls of glass, the Signature Suite is located on the 4th Deck, perched above the Pilothouse, offering commanding panoramic views. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open from both sides of the suite to the wraparound balcony, offering an exceptional outdoor living area.
A welcoming foyer leads to an inviting living room with a dining area that can accommodate small gatherings of up to six guests, complemented by a wet bar, a refrigerator restocked daily, and a convenient half bath. On the opposite side of the suite, a private retreat awaits, complete with a bedroom, sitting area, and walk-in closet. Grand Suite
Located on the 4th Deck, the Grand Suite redefines comfort on a river cruise. At 600 square feet, it is unparalleled in space when compared to European staterooms. The exceptionally designed suite offers a designated bedroom and separate living room. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in both rooms open to a 25-foot-long private balcony furnished with a table, chairs, and a chaise lounge—creating an expansive outdoor living area with sweeping views.
Inside, the living room includes a TV, dining area, breakfast bar, and a refrigerator, restocked daily.
