Overview
The Future of American River Cruising™ continues with American Melody, the 4th in our American Riverboat™ series. American Melody showcases a whole new aesthetic, with an updated interior design, bringing us to the next level of modern sophistication.
Specifically designed to navigate the Mississippi River, American Melody features panoramic views throughout, including an impressive four-story glass atrium in the center of the ship. Ranging from 250 to 615 square feet, all of the spacious staterooms feature full-size bathrooms, roomy closets, and private balconies. American Melody also offers the Back Porch Café for casual dining, an option that has been very popular with our guests.
The new ship also features many spacious lounges, where you can share the day’s adventures with fellow guests, as well as an onboard fitness center. At the end of each incredible day, unwind in your luxurious Grand Suite or Veranda Suite and enjoy “suite treats” which have been delivered to your stateroom, such as mini cheesecakes or chocolate-covered strawberries.
Grand Suite
The Grand Suite redefines comfort on a river cruise. At 615 square feet, it is unparalleled in space when compared to European staterooms. The exceptionally designed suite features a designated bedroom and separate living room. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors in both rooms open to a 25-foot-long private balcony furnished with a table, chairs, and a chaise lounge—creating an expansive outdoor living area with sweeping views.
Inside, the living room includes a TV, dining area, breakfast bar, and a refrigerator, restocked daily. The private bedroom offers a king-size bed with an ottoman bench, generous storage, and its own TV. A spacious bathroom with a double vanity, premium amenities, and a large shower completes the Grand Suite.

Veranda Suite
The Veranda Suite spans 350 square feet of refined living space, reflecting its suite-level scale. Relax in a comfortable seating area with a table and chairs, complemented by a stocked refrigerator for added convenience. Enjoy a king-size bed and spacious bathroom with a large shower and a complete array of premium amenities. Storage solutions include a closet, full-size dresser, and desk drawers. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors lead to a private balcony with deck furniture, extending the living space outdoors

Premium Balcony
This 300 square foot Premium Balcony stateroom offers a generous level of space. The layout features full-size furniture and plenty of open space to comfortably move around the room. The spacious bathroom offers a large shower and a full array of premium amenities. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors fill the room with natural light and open onto a private balcony with deck furniture, extending the living area outdoors.
Located on the sought-after 3rd Deck.
Deluxe Balcony
The Deluxe Balcony stateroom spans 300 square feet, offering an unmatched amount of space for river cruising. The open layout features full-size furniture and plenty of space to comfortably move around the room. The spacious bathroom offers a large shower and a full array of premium amenities. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors fill the room with natural light and open onto a private balcony with deck furniture, extending the living area outdoors.

Standard Balcony
Each Standard Balcony stateroom offers a generous 275 square feet of space. The open layout features full-size furniture and plenty of storage. The full bathroom offers a large shower, complete with an array of premium amenities. A push door with picture windows opens to a private balcony with deck furniture, filling the room with natural light and extending the living space outdoors.

Our Single Balcony staterooms offer solo travelers an exceptional 250 square feet of living space. A full-size bed, desk and chair, and comfortable sitting area are complemented by generous storage for all your belongings. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors fill the room with natural light and open to a private balcony with a table and a chair, creating an outdoor retreat.
