The cruise begins in Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle meet at the Deutsches Eck. Overlooking the city is Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, while the old town charms with narrow lanes and squares. The ship then heads upriver along the Moselle, through one of Europe’s most enchanting river landscapes.
Gentle curves, vineyards, and slate slopes accompany the journey to Traben-Trarbach, once a global wine trade hub. Art Nouveau villas, wine cellars, and Belle Époque flair define this elegant town.
Further upstream, Bernkastel awaits with half-timbered houses around its medieval market square. Above rises the ruined Castle Landshut, while local Riesling wines embody the essence of the Moselle.
The ship returns downstream to Cochem, where the fairytale Reichsburg towers over the valley. The old town, full of winding streets, cafés, and taverns, invites exploration, surrounded by sunlit vineyards.
At Treis-Karden, guests discover a quieter side of the Moselle. Historic churches and an authentic winegrowing atmosphere give this town its special charm.
Finally, back in Koblenz, the journey ends. Steep vineyards, romantic towns, and castle silhouettes make this Moselle cruise an unforgettable experience.
