Join like-minded solo travellers, on a cruise through the Balkans, we start by exploring the sights of Kalocsa and Belgrade, with its magnificent Kalemegdan Fortress. Then it’s off to Pleven passing through the Iron Gates Gorge and the Djerdap locks before visiting Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Known as ‘Little Paris,’ this gem of a capital city will capture your heart with its romantic buildings and boulevards. Then we explore the very best of The Danube Delta and enjoy a cruise through Europe’s largest area of wetlands – a UNESCO-listed site. We visit Constanța on the Black Sea coast, where you can explore its charming Old Town. From Ruse, either explore Veliko Tarnovo, the village of Arbanasi and the rock hewn churches at Ivanovo, or Ruse and the churches at Ivanovo and Basarbovo. From Vidin we take a scenic drive to the rock formations at Belogradchik, then we visit Lepenski Vir – one of the most important Mesolithic archaeological sites in Serbia and marvel at the views from Kapetan Mišin breg. Entering Croatia, you can choose to see Osijek & Vukovar, or take a boat ride in the Kopački rit nature park nestled between the Danube and Drava rivers. Finally, we discover the imperial capital city of Hungary - Budapest.

Main Restaurant
The spacious main restaurant offers an intimate yet relaxed fine dining experience with informal free seating. Guests are spoilt for choice with a hearty buffet at breakfast; a salad and dessert buffet plus pasta station at lunch with served soup and main courses, and sumptuous four-course dinners executed with silver service.
Riverview Kitchen
Escape to the Riverview Kitchen at the rear of the ship and enjoy a quiet read on the terrace.
Sun Deck
Crowning MS George Eliot is the Sun Deck, the ideal spot for taking in unhindered river views. There is a shaded seating area with plenty of comfortable outdoor chairs and sun loungers, as well as a putting green and splash pool.
Please note: The Sun Deck is only accessible by stairs.
Observation Lounge & Bar
At the heart of the ship is the elegant panoramic observation lounge, where guests can enjoy marvellous views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Take a seat on a leather armchair or modern settee, while the charming bar staff prepares your drink. During the evenings, the ship pianist entertains with a relaxing repertoire.
