The cruise begins in Berlin, where historic landmarks, modern architecture, and the vibrant atmosphere of the capital set the stage. Leaving the city, the ship sails through lakes and forests toward Lehnitz. Passing canals and locks, the journey reaches Hohensaaten, gateway to the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, with vast floodplains and birdlife. At Frankfurt an der Oder, a university city with Gothic brick architecture, history is everywhere. Nearby Eisenhüttenstadt reflects East German urban planning and industrial heritage. The Oder widens, flanked by meadows and forests. Crossen an der Oder, Tschicherzig, Beuthen, and Glogau showcase the charm of smaller river towns, castles, and churches. A highlight is Breslau (Wrocław), with its Cathedral Island, colorful market square, and rivers flowing through the city, giving it a maritime feel. On the return, Steinau, Glogau, and Crossen an der Oder present rural charm, while Groß Neuendorf and Hohensaaten mark the German side again. At Niederfinow, the ship passes the impressive boat lift. Eberswalde and Oranienburg enrich the route with industrial history and baroque palaces. Finally, back in Berlin, the cruise ends where it began – a journey full of culture, history, and river landscapes along the Oder and Havel.
