Czech Republic

Litomerice

Litoměřice, one of the oldest cities in the Czech Republic, captivates visitors with its colorful market square and impressive Gothic architecture. Surrounded by vineyards, the city is an ideal place to discover Czech wine culture and explore the historic wine cellars. The peaceful atmosphere along the banks of the Elbe River invites you to take leisurely strolls, while the Old Town, with its narrow streets and charming cafés, tempts you to linger. Litoměřice combines history, culture, and pleasure into an unforgettable experience.

Germany

Bad Schandau

Bad Schandau, nestled in the stunning landscape of Saxon Switzerland, is a gem for nature and culture lovers. Known for its thermal springs and charming historic atmosphere, the town offers an ideal starting point for hikes through the bizarre rock formations of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. On a stroll along the Elbe, you’ll discover magnificent villas and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere that characterizes this spa town. A visit to the Toskana Therme perfectly rounds out your stay in this picturesque town.

Germany

Dresden

Dresden is the capital of Saxony and one of the largest cities in the state. After World War II, the city on the Elbe River was painstakingly rebuilt. The Dresden Frauenkirche is a symbol of this reconstruction, which lasted from the 1990s through 2005. Magnificent 18th-century buildings adorn the city, such as the famous Semper Opera House and the Zwinger with its spacious gardens. The Royal Palace is located right in the Old Town, which is perfect for strolling.

Germany

Wittenberg

The city of Wittenberg offers you a deep insight into the history of the Reformation. There are numerous Luther memorials and, of course, the Castle Church, where Luther posted his theses. A visit to the Luther House is also very interesting. Take a stroll through the Piesteritz Workers’ Housing Estate—Germany’s first and largest car-free residential community—or through the Luther Garden.

Germany

Magdeburg

The city of Magdeburg on the Elbe River is the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt. Among its most striking landmarks is the Gothic Magdeburg Cathedral in the city center. Next to it stands the Hundertwasser House with the Green Citadel, where visitors can admire the artist’s distinctive architecture and colorful columns in the courtyard. The Millennium Tower, built of wood, stands 60 meters tall—making it the tallest wooden building in the world—and visitors can walk through and climb it. The beautifully landscaped Elbauenpark is also well worth a visit.

Potsdam

Potsdam, the capital of Brandenburg, is the state’s most populous city with approximately 180,000 residents. Above all, however, Potsdam stands out for its many worthwhile attractions, some of which are even designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After all, the city was added to the so-called List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites as early as 1990, as it is home to the largest concentration of World Heritage sites in Germany. Since 2019, the Brandenburg city has also been designated a UNESCO Film City. Among its best-known and most important attractions are undoubtedly the famous Sanssouci Palace with its beautiful palace gardens, as well as the Potsdam Film Museum and the Mill Museum in the historic mill.
